Opterna 4-pair shielded category 6 solid cables (SF/UTP) has been designed for indoor applications and suitable for flawless 1G Ethernet networking, fully supporting the more demanding office and industrial communications requirements including voice, data, VoIP, Video Conferencing, security, IP based cameras and other demanding real-time applications. The cables 8 conductors (4-Pairs) are of solid bare copper with high density polyethylene (HDPE) insulation and a LSZH jacket. Two insulated conductors are twisted together to form a pair and the four pairs with its unique pair lay are laid up to form the basic cable unit. The four pairs are separated with a cross web or X shape central spacer that add physical separation between the four pairs and reduces crosstalk between pairs. All four pairs are wrapped with a polyester backed aluminium foil shield and an outer braided shield which protects the twisted pairs from electromagnetic interferences.
