The D-Link DGS-712 1000Base-T Copper SFP Transceiver Module is a hot-swappable SFP (Small Form-Factor Pluggable) transceiver that plugs into standard SFP slots on switches and supports Gigabit Ethernet. The DGS-712 offers a wide variety of Gigabit Ethernet connectivity options for data centers, enterprise wiring closets, and service provider transport applications. The DGS-712 is an external transceiver designed for insertion into SFP slots of network devices for transmission and reception of data signals from fiber ports.
